Rice University faculty and staff are invited to learn more about university benefits at RiceFest April 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Grand Hall of Rice Memorial Center.
Employees can learn about health care and other benefits available to them and talk with benefit providers. Information also will be available about services and opportunities within the university as well as assistance provided by off-campus organizations. Staff from Human Resources will be available to answer questions regarding coverage and the open-enrollment process, which runs April 8-26. In addition to handouts and health screenings, employees can also enjoy free massages, promotional gifts and door prizes.
RiceFest is co-sponsored by Human Resources and the Staff Advisory Committee, which provides a venue for addressing issues of concern to faculty and staff and acts as a means of communication between the faculty and staff and the university administration.
Open enrollment for Rice University health and welfare benefits will begin April 8 and must be completed online via benefits.rice.edu by 5 p.m. April 26; click on the “Enroll in Benefits” box on the right side. Changes made during open enrollment will be effective July 1.
