LEGISLATORS TO MEET NOT-FOR-PROFIT REPS AT LUNCHEON

Elected officials from the Houston City
Council, Harris County Commissioners Court and the Houston and
Harris County delegates to the Texas Legislature and the United
States Congress will meet with representatives from local not-for-profit organizations Dec. 14 at the 1995 Legislators Luncheon at
Rice University.

The luncheon is hosted by Rice and the League of Women Voters of
Houston, and will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Grand
Hall of the Rice Memorial Center. The Rice Memorial Center can
reached by taking Entrance 13 off of Rice Blvd., and parking is
available directly across from the center in the Central Visitors
Lot.

The Legislators Luncheon is designed to provide representatives
of local not-for-profit organizations the opportunity to meet and
interact on an individual basis with their local, state and national
elected officials and key members of their respective staffs.
