RICE COMMUNITY TO SALUTE NOBEL LAUREATES CURL, SMALLEY

On Wednesday, Oct. 16, the Rice community-students, faculty, staff and board
members-will celebrate the honor conferred upon Robert Curl and Richard Smalley,
professors of chemistry, as 1996 Nobel Laureates in Chemistry.

The celebration, hosted by Rice President Malcolm Gillis, will be held from
4:30-6 p.m. in the Grand Hall of the Rice Memorial Center (RMC).

The RMC is accessible by taking Entrance 13 off of Rice Boulevard.
