Follow Kenya Shoe Expedition on the World Wide
Web

The Kenya Shoe Expedition, Adam Reiser’s project of collecting more than
1,000 pairs of used running shoes and hand-delivering them to young
underprivileged runners in Kenya, is being detailed on the World Wide Web. A
Rice senior, Reiser, who arrived in Africa last week, is logging periodical
entries in an online diary. He plans to post photos to the site as well. The web
site also features a letter from Reiser explaining why and how he started this
project. A runner himself, Reiser just earned a silver medal in the 5,000-meter
race when he competed for the United States in an international track meet in
Israel two weeks ago. He looks forward to running with the recipients of the
donated shoes.
