Documentary Explores Medical Experiments During Holocaust

The internationally acclaimed documentary "Healing by Killing" by
Nitzan Aviram will have its Houston premiere at 7 p.m. April 2 at the Rice Media
Center.
The film provides an inside look into the development of the medical experimentation
and euthanasia operations utilized during the Holocaust.
After the film there will be a panel discussion. Panelists will include the
Israeli filmmaker Aviram, Sharon Weinstein, M.D., and Rebecca Pentz, M.D., from
the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center; and Laurence McCullough, Ph.D., from the Baylor
College of Medicine.
Moderators are Paul Lockey, assistant director of academic advising at Rice,
and Edwin Yau, vice president of Rice Pre-Med Society.
The event is sponsored by the Consulate General of Israel, Rice University
Pre-Med Society, the Maimonides Society, and the Holocaust Museum Houston.
