AATDF to Present New Approaches
The results of a four-year program designed to test new approaches for cleaning
up the environment will be presented at a briefing on April 28-29 in McMurtry
Auditorium, Duncan Hall.
The Advanced Applied Technology Demonstration Facility (AATDF), sponsored by
the Department of Defense (DOD) and headquartered at Rice, was funded in 1993
with a $19.3 million grant. Research was conducted by a consortium of universities
and supported by government agencies and industry.
The briefing will report on the performance of 10 technologies for use at DOD
sites and provide critical analyses of their commercialization potential.
