LEA RABIN TO HOLD MEDIA AVAILABILITY AT RICE
UNIVERSITY
WHO: Lea Rabin, wife of former
Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.
WHAT: Lea Rabin will respond to
questions from reporters in the International Conference Facility (ICF) at Baker
Hall on the Rice University campus.

WHERE: Baker Hall at Rice
University.
Take Entrance 13 off of Rice Boulevard onto campus. Go through
two stop signs. After the second stop sign there will be a parking lot on the
right. Baker Hall is the new building facing this parking lot.
Lea Rabin is visiting Rice to dedicate an endowed fellow
position at the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy established in
honor of her late husband, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. The fellowship
has been created to focus on peace and security issues in the Middle East and
the world. It was made possible by the generous donations of Isaac and Mildred
Brochstein and other donors.
After meeting with the media, Lea Rabin will speak at a
reception in the Commons of Baker Hall, immediately adjacent to the ICF, along
with James A. Baker, III, and Israeli Major General (retired) Uri Sagie, the
first holder of the Rabin Fellow position. Reporters attending the briefing will
be able to cover her remarks at this event.
