Honduran Relief Drive Continues
If you missed last week’s deadline to donate to the Rice Honduras Relief Effort, you can get in on a second campus collection date, set for noon Monday, Nov. 23.
The Nov. 11 drive at Rice filled an 18-foot rental truck. Donations were sent to the Honduran Consulate’s warehouse and, from there, put on a ship in Galveston en route to Honduras.
Donations for the second drive may be dropped off at the Community Involvement Center, located in the Rice Memorial Center cloisters.
Please donate the following items: packaged food, baby food, powdered or canned milk, drinking water, corn flour, beans, rice, vegetable oil, clothing and disposable diapers.
Please go to http://phoenix.wrc.rice.edu/~honduras/ for information on monetary donations.
