Noncredit Classes Open This Summer

This summer, the Rice University School of Continuing Studies will offer a selection of noncredit courses in creative writing, art, career skills and foreign languages. Most classes, including “Having Our Say: A Personal Essay Workshop,” “Writing the Nonfiction Book” and “The Art of Chinese Painting,” will be held in June.

The School of Continuing Studies is also offering the following foreign language classes in June and July: Spanish, French, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, German, Arabic and Japanese.

Continuing Studies also offers a variety of summer professional and technical courses.

Rice faculty and staff receive a 25 percent discount on all limited enrollment classes such as art, creative writing and career development and other discounts for language and professional courses. Call the Continuing Studies office for more information.
