Holiday Service Projects Available

Rice groups, residential colleges and departments may be interested in participating in a holiday related service project such as serving food or adopting a family. If so, the Community Involvement Center (CIC) has compiled a list of holiday related group service opportunities. To request a listing contact the CIC at (713) 527-8101, Ext. 4970, or service@rice.edu.

Stationary Orders Can Be Placed Now

With new telephone numbers to be in place for most of campus by Dec. 30, that means it’s also time to order new stationary such as business cards and letterhead.

Orders for stationary may be placed with one of two university-approved suppliers–Trostan Printing or Kinko’s.

Orders can be placed with Trostan’s off-campus location by calling (713) 666-3394 during normal business hours. The off-campus office is located at 8969 Interchange Drive near the Astrodome. Trostan, formerly the Rice Printing Center, also has an office on campus in the basement of Allen Center, where orders may be placed from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. The campus office can be reached at (713) 527-8101, Ext. 2375.

Stationary can be ordered from two Kinko’s locations. Kinko’s @ Rice, located in the Ley Student Center, can be reached at (713) 737-6275 and the Rice Village location can be reached at (713) 521-9465.
