Jacqueline Hing, assistant director, Career Services, presented “Values Clarification” and “Workplace Diversity” at two presupervisory academies for the National Agricultural Statistics Service held at Texas A&M Sept. 13 and 27. Hing also conducted a team-building session using the FIRO-B (Fundamental Interpersonal Relationships Orientation-Behavior) inventory to the management team at Child Advocates Inc. on Oct. 14.
Maria-Regina Kecht, associate professor, Dept. of Germanic & Slavic Studies, and director of the Center for the Study of Languages, presented “Three Media–One Story? Marie-Therese Kerschbaumer’s Holocaust Narrative” Oct. 9 at the 23rd annual conference of the German Studies Association in Atlanta.
Stephen A. Zeff, the Herbert S. Autry Professor of Accounting, Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management, gave a presentation titled “The Coming Confrontation on International Accounting Standards” at the 25th annual Seminar on Accounting Education, Texas Society of CPAs Accounting Education Foundation, Oct. 8.
