Rudolph Receives Alumni Award from ISU

Fred Rudolph, chair of the Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, was at Iowa State University (ISU) in Ames, Iowa, this fall to receive a Citation of Merit honoring distinguished alumni of ISU.
On Oct. 29, Rudolph, the Ralph and Dorothy Looney Professor of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, presented a seminar on his current research in the area of fermentation and attended a banquet and awards ceremony. The citation, presented by ISU’s College of Arts and Sciences,where Rudolph conducted his graduate work, honored him as a distinguished alumnus “for outstanding professional achievement.”
