‘Who’s Who’ Includes Long List of Rice Students
Sixty-three Rice students will appear in the 1999-2000 edition of Whos Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. They were chosen from a sizable number of juniors, seniors and graduate students nominated by masters, departments, administrators and other students. The recipients will be awarded certificates through their colleges and the Graduate Student Association later this spring.
Rice was designated its quota of recipients by the Whos Who board based on current enrollment and degrees awarded. As stipulated in the Student Association constitution, a committee of administration, leadership in academic and extracurricular activities, faculty and students selected the recipients based on scholarship ability, participation at Rice and potential for future achievement.
