Riding for a great cause

Two Rice students
are hoping to go on a bike ride—a very long bike ride
for a great cause. Ann Blaine, a fifth year Lovett College
resident, and Erik Garza, a fifth year Will Rice resident,
are making plans to bike 325 miles from Houston to Dallas
to raise money for the Tanqueray Texas AIDSRide 3 Oct. 12-15.
AIDSRide 3 will raise money for a variety of AIDS organizations
in Texas.

To participate,
each potential rider must raise a minimum of $2,300; Blaine
and Garza are still working to meet their goals.

To help Blaine
and/or Garza reach their goal and to help fight AIDS, make
your check out to “Tanqueray Texas AIDSRide 3” and send it to either student.

to Blaine, write “Rider Number 619” on the memo
line; for checks sent to Garza, write “Rider Number
