Ghorbel honored

Fathi Ghorbel,
associate professor of mechanical engineering and materials
science and bioengineering, received the “Order of
National Merit in the field of education and sciences” by order of the president of Tunisia.

Ghorbel received
a letter from the Tunisian secretary of state for scientific
research and technology informing him that he had won the
award. Ghorbel is the president of the Tunisian Scientific
Society, the principal scientific organization for Tunisian
scientists in North America.

The honor is
a national award for Tunisians who excel in the fields of
sciences and education and show exceptional leadership.
