Information
available on disability services

…………………………………………………………………

Teaching staff
drawing up their syllabi for the spring semester are reminded
that they should include a statement regarding disability-based
accommodations. This ensures that students have been informed
as to the steps necessary to receive accommodations.

Jean Ashmore,
director of disability support services, can provide suggested
syllabus announcements.

Students should
contact Ashmore at the beginning of the semester so that
accommodation letters can be prepared for professors.

For questions
regarding syllabus statements or other disability issues,
contact Ashmore at (713) 348-5841. Additional information
about disability services on campus is available on the
Web at <www.rice.edu/dss>.
