Alumni association accepting nominations for awards

Nominations
for the Association of Rice Alumni honor awards are being
accepted through May 1.

The alumni association
presents three awards annually to a group of deserving individuals:
the Gold Medal, the Distinguished Alumni Award and the Meritorious
Service Award.

The Gold Medal
is awarded to Rice alumni, faculty, staff and friends of
the university who have rendered extraordinary service to
the university. The Distinguished Alumni Award is presented
to alumni who have advanced the standards and excellence
of Rice University through distinctive professional or volunteer
careers, and the Meritorious Service Award is presented
to retired and active faculty, staff, alumni and friends
of the university who have made significant, sustained and
voluntary contributions of energy, time and creativity toward
the advancement of Rice.

MS-520, P.O. Box 1892, Houston, Texas, 77251-1892. Nominations
