Health care and
other benefits providers will offer information and answer
questions for staff and faculty at the April 16 RiceFest
2002.

This year the hours for RiceFest have been extended, and
the event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Rice Memorial
Center and the Ley Student Center. Employees can turn in
their benefit enrollment forms to human resources representatives
throughout the day at RiceFest.

Among the organizations that will have representatives at
RiceFest are Kelsey Seybold, Aetna U.S. Healthcare, MethodistCare
HMO, Dental Providers, M.D. Anderson Cancer Prevention,
Financial Engines and TIAA-CREF. Employees also can partake
of blood pressure screenings and massage therapists that
will be available. New participants in the event include
Sheltering Arms (elder care referral), Sun Life (longterm
disability care) and Unum Provident (longterm care).

Providers representing other benefit offerings, include
the credit union, employee assistance program, Initiatives
for Children and the Rice School also will be at RiceFest.
Campus participants include delivery services, the School
of Continuing Studies, the police department, university
relations, the athletic department, Trostan Printing, Kinko’s,
career services, catering, facilities and engineering and
others.
