The following
news and events were provided by the Staff Advisory Committee
(SAC):

With the aging population, many people are beginning to
face the reality that their parents or close relatives are
in need of more assistance in doing everyday chores.

This issue will
be the topic of the next Brown Bag Lunch Session Jan. 22.
Sherry Jerome of Sheltering Arms will discuss “Elder-care
Issues and Long-term Health-care Plans: What Are Your Choices?”
at noon in Room 117, Humanities Building.

Those wishing
to attend should bring their own lunch; refreshments will
be served. Attendees also can register for door prizes,
which this session include tickets to the Main Street Theatre
and tickets for Opera in the Heights Feb. 14.

The Staff Development
Committee, a subcommittee of the SAC, sponsors the Brown
Bag Lunch Sessions.
