Lydia Kavraki, associate
professor of computer science, was named as one of Popular Sciences Brilliant
10 scientists. Kavraki represented the computer science field. Her work
on looking for ways to model biological molecules to aid in the hunt for new
medicines was featured.
National Public Radio
Amy Jaffe,
the Wallace Wilson Fellow for Energy Studies at the James A. Baker III Institute
for Public Policy and associate director of the Rice Energy Program, participated
