How long have you been working at Rice?

What is your favorite place on campus?
Baker College Commons because of its timeless beauty and elegance
What is the most difficult part of your job?
Saying “goodbye” to my students at commencement
What is the best part of your job?
Hands down, it is getting to know the students and being there for them in good and bad times.
What was the last book you read?
The last book I read was “Sunday Brunch” by Norma L. Jarrett. Currently, I am reading “Behind Closed Doors” by Kimberla Lawson Roby.
If you could have any job you wanted, what would it be?
A Christian counselor
What is your favorite movie and why?
“Imitation of Life” because it shows what happens when one is not true to him or herself
What traits do you admire in people?
I admire honesty and friendliness because these attributes aid in one’s integrity.
What is something about you that people would be surprised to know?
I am a pastor’s wife.
Who are your heroes in real life?
My parents, who accomplished so much with little education
If you could pass a universal law for campus, what would it be?
That people be respectful and cordial to each other and dismiss the use of profanity
