Shapiro Award nominations sought
The Fondren Library Staff Travel and Development Committee is seeking nominations for the fourth annual Shapiro Library Staff Innovation Award.
This award recognizes a member of the Fondren staff who has developed an innovative program to provide library services at Rice University or has shown exemplary service to the university community.
Any member of the Rice community can send a letter of nomination to Susan Leister, chairperson, Shapiro Award Selection Committee, Fondren Library, MS 44.
The deadline for nominations is Monday, March 14. The Shapiro Award will be presented at a public ceremony in late April or early May by the director of Fondren Library.
