New course seeks to demystify research accounting
Faculty and staff who have ever wondered just what happens to research awards, how they are accounted for, and what cost-sharing and allowable costs are can find the answers during a new Administrative Career Training Program course.
“Research at Rice: Research Accounting Overview” is the third course in a series designed to familiarize faculty and staff with the many aspects of research administration at Rice. Participants should leave with a better understanding of their role in research accounting during post-award activities.
Course facilitators are Assistant Controller Chuck Tarantino and the research accounting staff. The course will be offered in two parts on two occasions: April 7 and 8 and May 17 and 18.
