Cleaning for a good cause

Custodians and groundskeepers from the Department of Facilities, Engineering and Planning volunteered at the Astrodome by cleaning restrooms for Hurricane Katrina evacuees housed at the ballpark. Volunteer vibe

College chefs from the Houston area join Rice University chefs to prepare, cook and pack 500 pounds of chicken. The chicken was donated by HEB to the End Hunger Network. The chefs will cook meat after hours for the Hurricane Katrina evacuees on a continual basis.
