IUB receives unprecedented donation, will change name

International University Bremen (IUB), the private university in Germany that was modeled after Rice, is changing its name to Jacobs University Bremen next spring in honor of receiving an unprecedented donation of more than $255 million from the Swiss Jacobs Foundation.
