Campanile Road to be resurfaced

Campanile Road to be resurfaced

Campanile Road between Entrances 21 and 23 will be resurfaced on two consecutive Saturdays, July 7 and July 14.

The contractor will mill the surface asphalt layer July 7. During the milling process, Campanile Road between the entrances will be closed to nonessential traffic. The entrances will still be open. Campanile Road will reopen to normal traffic early July 8.

Some repairs to the road’s base layer may be necessary between Monday and Friday, July 9-13, but should not affect traffic.

The following Saturday, July 14, the contractor will overlay the road base with new asphalt. The road between the entrances will be closed again to nonessential traffic and will remain closed until early the following morning.

Those who ordinarily park at Keck Hall, Central Plant or in the Campanile parking lots may park in the Abercrombie or North Lot July 7 and 14. Deliveries will be possible July 7 but not July 14.

If you have questions or concerns about parking, call Mike Morgan at 713-348-2021. If you have questions about the project, call Max Amery at 713-348-5350.
