Be a volleyball guest coach

See Rice volleyball up close when you volunteer to be a ”guest coach.” This is the second season the team has held a drawing to choose a few lucky winners who get to experience the game from a coach’s courtside chair. One guest coach is chosen for each home game.

The first home game is scheduled for Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. against Louisiana Tech.

Once chosen, the winner and a guest are invited to attend a practice session, the pregame warm-up activities, including the team meal and the coach’s scouting report, and the match,. Winners sit on the bench with the team and receive a Rice volleyball memento.
