Noted math teaching scholar to speak
The Rice University School Mathematics Project will host its Fall Networking Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 8 at Pin Oak Middle School.
The keynote speaker will be Paul Goldenberg, distinguished scholar at the Education Development Center and developer of the kindergarten-through-fifth- grade teacher program, “Think Math!” Exemplary learning plans created during the 2007 Summer Campus Program will be presented during the conference.
