Coffeehouse resumes in-school hours, adds desserts

The Rice Coffeehouse now serves locally made pastries and desserts from Cakes on Call.

The coffeehouse, located on the first floor of the Rice Memorial Center, resumed normal semester hours Aug. 27 and is open 7:30 a.m. – midnight Monday-Thursday; 7:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday; and 2 p.m.-midnight Sunday.

Another service from the coffeehouse allows anyone from the Rice community to order coffee for their dorm or office. Office Packs provide the correct amount of coffee for a 12-cup pot and are available for $1.25 each with a minimum order of 10, plus a 15 percent service fee. Order by Monday for Wednesday delivery.
