Campus open for Families Weekend

Major events this weekend include a speech on civil
rights by Ruth Simmons, president of Brown University, and the
induction of new honorees into the Rice Athletics Hall of Fame.

Parents
and students interested in learning more about the construction
projects under way on campus may visit the Construction Information
Center, located at the intersection of College Way and Alumni Drive,
which will be open Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is in addition to
its normal weekday operating hours of 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
