Take a student to car show for free
Houston’s first student day at the International Show Car Association’s Autorama will be co-sponsored by Rice’s Center for Excellence and Equity in Education (CEEE) Nov. 23.
To stimulate middle school and high school students’ interest in careers in science, engineering, math and technology, CEEE director Richard Tapia and his staff have put together a three-part program called “Engineering Speed” that shows the connection between cars and education.
