GIS hosts open house Nov. 14

The Geographic Information Systems Data Center at Fondren Library will host an open house Nov. 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Room B40. The event will feature demonstrations of mapping software, applications, interactive displays of Rice history and a collection of postcards from around the world. Refreshments will be provided.
In addition, the GIS/Data Center’s maps will be on display the week of Nov. 12-16 on the first floor of Fondren.
