| The Facilities, Engineering & Planning Department began a street sweeping pilot program this month in an effort to minimize dust and debris sometimes created by ongoing campus construction projects. The street sweeping is scheduled to occur twice weekly. All sweeping will occur during the early morning hours to minimize noise impact on students, faculty and staff. Hugh Ton-That, FE&P maintenance manager, said the sweepers will sweep the Inner Loop roads and Alumni Road beginning at entrance gate 8. Ton-That feels confident this will help the cleanliness of the roadways throughout the week and into the weekend. |
