  JEFF FITLOW
Rice University Police Officer Jim Baylor teaches graduate student Joanna Papakonstantinou about gun sighting and weapon control during National Police Week festivities at Rice Memorial Center this week.

National Police Week was established in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy. It gives citizens the opportunity to recognize those who work in law enforcement, and it allows for an open dialogue between police and the community they serve.
