The Hispanic Heritage Teacher Awards acknowledge influential teachers within Latino communities who make a positive impact on the lives of Latino youth.

During April and May, 12 teachers from across the country were selected as regional finalists. Each teacher received recognition and a grant to help purchase supplies for their classrooms.
