  Rice shows pride

Thanks to the effort of students, staff, faculty and alumni, Rice
University was well-represented at the 30th annual Houston Pride Parade
June 28. The school entered a float in the parade that was titled
”Teach Your Children Well.” The creative display drew cheers from an
estimated 200,000 Houstonians. The 30th Pride Parade coincided with the
30th anniversary of Rice’s campus Gay, Lesbian, Transgender,
Queer/Questioning and Allied support group, the recently renamed
”Q&A” (Queers and Allies).
