Baker Institute to collaborate with online archive

The James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy will become a participating organization in PolicyArchive, the nation’s first comprehensive, searchable, open-access online archive of public-policy research.

Baker Institute fellows and scholars will be able to distribute, publicize and archive their research using the site. They will post policy reports, research papers and conference summaries. Policymakers and members of the news media can also access a wide array of material from foundation-funded and other public-policy research.

“Posting the material on PolicyArchive will increase exposure to our fellows’ research,” said Sonja Fulbright, assistant director of design at the Baker Institute. “People encountering the research on the site will be able to link to the Baker Institute Web site for more information.”

Research materials from the Baker Institute will begin to be posted July 21. To view PolicyArchive, go to https://www.policyarchive.org.
