| Bob Curl received the 2008 Pinnacle Achievement Award from the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (IACCGH). A 1996 Nobel Prize winner for the discovery of fullerenes, Curl is the University Professor Emeritus and the Kenneth S. Pitzer-Schlumberger Professor Emeritus of Natural Sciences at Rice.
