RMC celebrates 50 years with events Nov. 3-7

Rice Memorial Center is marking 50 years of community building at Rice with a week of free events and prizes.

A 50th anniversary celebration 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Nov. 3 in Grand Hall, including cake, refreshments and an “RMC Through the Years” slide show, will kick off the festivities.

Other events will be:

• Nov. 4, 10:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m., ’90s Coffeehouse “Rave” in Grand Hall
• Nov. 5, 8-9 p.m., ’80s “The Norman Magic Experience” in Grand Hall
• Nov. 5, 11 p.m.-12:30 a.m., RMC trivia at Willy’s Pub
• Nov. 6, 9 p.m.-2 a.m., ’70s Pub Night at Willy’s Pub
• Nov. 7, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., All-Rice Picnic on the Central Quad
