Artist Paul Villinski talks with a Rice crowd about his new work, “Emergency
Response Studio,” a salvaged FEMA-style trailer that he transformed into a living/work space that could house displaced artists or allow visiting artists to “embed” in postdisaster settings.

This new installation of Rice University Art Gallery will be on view through March 1 at the southeast corner of Lovett Hall, near Rice Gallery.

Villinski will be on-site to answer questions about “Emergency Response Studio” Jan. 31, Feb. 1, Feb. 28 and March 1. For more information about the installation or Rice Gallery, visit http://www.ricegallery.org.
