New mileage reimbursement rates effective March 1

To preserve resources in the current economic climate, Rice is implementing new mileage reimbursement rates.

Effective March 1, the mileage reimbursement rate will be reduced to 50 cents per mile from 55 cents. This rate applies to trips within the Houston area and to mileage claimed as part of reimbursement for other travel on behalf of the university. The new rate will remain in effect until further notice.
