Rice recognized at Commit for Life awards ceremony

Rice was recognized as a gold-level partner and regional “School of the
Year” by Commit for Life, a partnership between the Houston community
and the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center.

In 2008, Rice conducted 22 blood drives and increased its collection at its fall blood drive by 38 percent.

The next campus blood drives will be held April 7-10 at Rice Memorial
Center and at residential colleges. Pictured are Wiess College senior
