What a Willy big picnic!

Rice students soaked up the rays and took in some tunes March 16 at the annual picnic celebrating the birthday of the university’s founder, William Marsh Rice. This year the party was moved from the Academic Quad to the Central Quad, and a concert by Ben Kweller and Achachay added to the festivities. The event kicked off Willy Week, which culminates Saturday with Beer Bike.
