Photo gallery: Rice defeats Kansas State 13-4 at Reckling Park

The Rice baseball team will go to the NCAA Super Regionals this week after a 13-4 victory Monday night over Kansas State at Reckling Park. Rice is now one of 16 teams vying in the super regionals for eight slots in the College World Series, which begins in Omaha, Neb., June 13. The Owls face No. 3-ranked LSU in Baton Rouge, La., in a best-of-three super regional series starting Friday at 6 p.m. Game two begins at 4 p.m. Saturday, and both will be broadcast nationally on ESPN. A third game, if necessary, will be at 6 p.m. Sunday and broadcast on ESPN2.
