“Imperial Knowledge: Russian Literature and Colonialism,” a book by Ewa Thompson, research professor in German studies, has been translated into Chinese and was published by Beijing University Press in July.

“Biochemical Analysis of the Porcine Temporomandibular Joint Disc,” a paper by Scott Baggett, lecturer on statistics, was named a Top 10 Cited Paper for 2006-2008 by the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Christina Keefe, director of the theater program and lecturer in visual and dramatic arts, joined 100 theater companies from around the country to read “The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later” at the University of Houston’s Wortham Theatre Oct. 12.
