Rice is going to the dogs Oct. 31. Hounds and humans are invited to campus for the Howl-o-ween Dogathon, a benefit for Rice Women’s Athletics and a local dog shelter hosted by Rice Sport Management and the Women’s Athletics Advisory Board.

Families and their dogs will walk a portion of the inner loop and then enjoy activities after, including a costume contest for dogs and owners, autograph signings with Rice student-athletes, inflatable bounce houses for kids and dog adoptions. There will also be prizes, food and much more.

The walk begins at noon at Tudor Fieldhouse. Registration is $25 and can be done online at http://www.firstgiving.com/WAABRICE or the morning of the event. Free parking will be available in West Lot 4.
