OCFR open house Nov. 6 offers opportunity to learn about funding

Members of the Rice community interested in learning about potential funding opportunities can drop by Brochstein Pavilion Nov. 6 between 9 and 11 a.m. for an open house hosted by Resource Development’s Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (OCFR).

OCFR staff will provide coffee and conversation about the office’s role in helping secure private funding for research, projects and programs.

OCFR supports the academic and research goals of Rice by helping solicit support from private sources, specifically corporations and philanthropic foundations. OCFR works closely with the Offices of Sponsored Research and Research and Cost Accounting and with the larger Division of Resource Development to process and steward corporate and foundation awards.
