Allgood’s art on view during November

By day she’s school administrator for the George R. Brown School of Engineering, but by night Carolie Allgood is often a watercolor painter. She is one of nine Houston artists whose paintings will be on view Nov. 5-30 downtown in the Cloister Gallery at Christ Church Cathedral, 1117 Texas Ave.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays. A reception for the exhibit will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 5.
