| Vice President for Public Affairs Linda Thrane and other members of the Public Affairs team helped raise a record $1,030,323 for local National Public Radio affiliate KUHF-FM during the final hours of its semi-annual fundraising campaign Friday. Owls manned the phones at the KUHF studios while Thrane and KUHF broadcasters highlighted Rice University and the importance of public radio. Supporting KUHF is just one more way Rice contributes to its home city of Houston as part of the Vision for the Second Century strategy. | |
