Campus blood drive set for Nov. 16-18

The next campus blood drive will be at Farnsworth Pavilion from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 and at the residential colleges Nov. 16-18 at the times listed below.

Rice participates with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center as a “Commit for Life” partner. Through this relationship, Rice sponsors four blood drives annually to help meet the needs of more than 220 health care institutions in the 24-county Texas Gulf Coast region.

The process of giving blood takes about an hour. Appointments are encouraged and will be given priority, but walk-ins are welcome. Make an appointment by visiting the Community Involvement Center’s Web site, http://www.rice.edu/blooddrives.
